When will I see the results?
Visible results are able to be seen immediately following treatment. There may be some slight swelling which can take up to 24 hours to settle down, but as soon as you leave the clinic you’ll already be able to see your beautiful new full lips.
What does the treatment involve?
You’ll have a full consultation regarding how you’d like your lips to look, after which time the treatment will begin. A solution is injected into your lips to add plumpness and definition. The practitioner will then massage your lips slightly and may ice them for a few minutes to avoid swelling. After this, you’re free to go about your day as normal.
How long do lip fillers last?
The duration of results varies from individual to individual, but as a general rule you can expect your gorgeous new lips to maintain their shape for at least six to nine months. For some, results can last as long as 12 – 15 months.
Is the treatment pain free?
Lip fillers can be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. Our clients comment that it feels a bit like a pinch to start with, then there is a little stinging as the filler is injected. If you are worried about the injection, you can request a numbing cream, so you don’t feel it at all.
Are lip fillers safe?
Absolutely. We’ve been providing lip fillers to our clients with great success for many years. The only risks involved are slight swelling, a little redness immediately after treatment and minor bruising which will clear up within a few days.
What about aftercare?
Your practitioner will advise you fully about aftercare, but in general there is no big commitment from you following your procedure. We do ask you to avoid touching the area for at least six hours, and to avoid intense heat such as sunbeds. Makeup should be avoided for at least two hours.
How long does the treatment take?
Including your consultation with our expert practitioner, your treatment should last no longer than an hour.
