For smooth, wrinkle-free skin
From £110
Line Softening injections are a well known and popular anti-ageing treatment and have been proven to be highly effective at helping to soften fine lines and wrinkles. Line Softening injections are most effective in the upper face - this treatment leaves you with a fresh youthful look.

Practitioners at True face Aesthetics are experts in their field with line softening treatments accounting for around 40% of all treatments. We understand the skill required to achieve a subtle non-frozen appearance.

Wrinkles and lines are developed when the natural collagen in the skin depletes at around the age of 30 these wrinkles worsen over time with use of the muscles used for facial expression and develop into a permanent feature. Environmental factors such as sun exposure, stress, smoking, pollution and drinking alcohol can exacerbate the problem.

Frequently asked questions
What are line softening injections?
Botulinum toxin type A is a prescription only medication that works by temporally blocking the signals made by nerve endings it works by stopping the release of Acetylcholine this chemicals role is to transmit the signals made by the nerve endings to the muscles that causes contraction and movement and wrinkle formation.
How long do line softening injections last?
Line Softening injections can last anything between 2 to 4 months, the effects gradually disappear over time leaving your skin's appearance as it was before your treatment (but never worse).
What does the treatment involve?
An initial consultation with one of our prescribing practitioners followed by facial muscle mapping to achieve the best results. This is followed but multiple small doses being injected into the face using a very fine needle. This procedure is as much about experience as it is about artistry.
When will I see the results?
This depends on the individual, some see a change within as little as 2 days but most see a change anything from 2-5 days with the maximum effect being achieved at two weeks.
