Sunekos Sheffield

Sunekos is fast becoming one of the most talked about treatments in the field of medical aesthetics.

Sunekos is an injectable skin treatment and like some dermal fillers  Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which acts to fill in wrinkles and fine lines.

What makes it really special is the extra addition of amino acids - the building blocks of healthy skin.  This unique formula stimulates production of new collagen and elastin, improving facial volume loss, reducing signs of ageing whilst leaving a natural, youthful appearance.

Why choose Sunekos?

Instead of just plumping up the skin to lessen the appearance of wrinkles, Sunekos works to actually reduce signs of ageing. This is due to hyaluronic acid which can carry up to 1000 times its weight in water, giving skin a young and supple appearance.

By filling in your fine lines and wrinkles with hyaluronic acid, Sunekos helps to restore your youthful look.

Conventional anti-aging injectables such as dermal fillers are aimed at restoring lost volume in areas of the face. Sunekos, on the other hand, actually targets the scaffolding underneath the skin by stimulating collagen production.

It does this by not only adding hyaluronic acid to the skin, but using  patented formula of amino acids, that includes glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCI, L-valine and L-alanine.

This formula helps to regenerate the Extra Cellular Matrix by stimulating the fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin - rebuilding skin cells. In essence, Sunekos renews your skin, leaving it looking smooth, glowing, and hydrated.

Is Sunekos suitable for me?

There is no specific age at which you should start Sunekos treatments – All people age differently and feel differently about how they look. In general, we find that people start the treatments for the following reasons:

20s – To prevent wrinkles and fine lines.
30s – To extend their  youthful appearance as wrinkles and fine lines start to form.
40s – To stop wrinkles and fine lines before they are deeply embedded.
50+ – To improve the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles

How many with treatments are required?

You will have 4 sessions each one week apart. You can see a marked improvement as the treatments progress, but the entire course of 4 must be completed for the area to get the intended results.

How much down-time can I expect?

Following the treatment, you might experience small bumps where Sunekos was injected. These will reduce in just a few hours. It is advisable to avoid swimming, sports and other strenuous activity for 24 hours following treatment, and to avoid steam rooms and saunas for a few days.

What results can I expect?

In general, it takes 7-10 days for the treatment to take full effect, and the results last 6 months.

What are the potential complications?

The most common minor side effects are tenderness and mild bruising around the injected areas.
